「鉄腕アダム」（吾嬬竜孝作全4巻、集英社刊）。2045年に地球にやってきた謎の飛翔体「蝶」。人類への明確な害意を持ち、通常兵器に耐える強靭さと対応能力を持つ蝶に対抗できるのは、蝶の内部に蓄えた膨大な演算をリセットできる量子コンピュータの頭脳にもったヒューマノイド「アダム」のみ。現在の科学の延長に宇宙的スケールの物語を描いたハードSFであり、アダムと開発者ジェシーの美しい友情の物語でもあります。

本作はこの鉄腕アダムをイメージ源にした同人音楽作品です（吾嬬竜孝先生、出版社とは一切関係ありません）。難解な設定、宇宙空間や電子戦という絵にしづらいものへのチャレンジ、それら困難を見事乗り越えて素晴らしいテーマを語りきった鉄腕アダムに作品をもって1ファンより賛辞を贈りたいと思います。
音楽的な話としては、自分の得意分野はピアノやクラシック音楽なのですが、テーマが要請するデジタルな音も織り交ぜねば、ということで、音源導入や作曲手法、マスタリング方法、色々な更新をしながら臨みました。
